how can i spped the process of getting purple coraline

all i have is opaque green coraline:grumble:

i had bought a fully bright purple coraline rock from one of my stores, and it slowly started getting dull, the purple is still there but very dull could my lights have such a big effect on it ?

Yes, lights do affect coraline but there are other factors as well. Like different sports on your tank, water conditions, etc.

Try purple up - i never used it (never needed to) but i hear a lot of people talking about it.
 
With a very high intensity light it may be difficult to get purple coraline, I have heard of a lot of people that cant.
 
The biggest thing about coralline is patience and the right parameters.
Keep phosphates and nitrates down,calcium,alkalinity,and magnesium up.Add good water flow,scrub what coralline is on the rock a bit,then wait.
But be careful what you ask for.Coralline can be a head ache at times.
