FOODS AND FEEDING - Should be fed a variety of high quality marine meaty foods. Will also eat other crustaceans.
AQUARIUM SUITABILITY -
REEF COMPATIBILITY - No
CAPTIVE CARE - This is an aggressive fish and will do better with other larger aggressive fish as an adult. It will kill and harass smaller fish. As a juvenile it should be kept with more peaceful fish. As one of the worst tempered Hogfish, caution should be used around it.
