Clump of sand pebbles and shells

Under my LR and laying just above the sand, there is slowly growing clump of pebbles and tiny bits of shells. My wife seems to think there is something living in it. I'm not so sure. (But she's the one who first saw the aiptasia, the clams, the feather dusters, copepods, the small worm, the bristle worm, etc).

i heard sea urchins throw things(like shells and rubble) on their backs and pile it up in one spot of the tank . do u have a sea urchin

Sounds like someone is digging, and that's the pile of the stuff they've dug out. Either that, or one of your powerheads is aimed in the area and causing it to pile up.

Are you hearing some ''clicking'' or ''popping'' sounds coming from the tank.

If so,start looking for a mantis or pistol shrimp.
