I think I saw one on dirty jobs. I can't remember the name though. People raise them for food and they get huge. If you don't know what it is don't put it in your tank.

It looks like a cleaning clam...they like to bury themselves in the substrate, where they will spend the rest of their life...I have two in my tank, under the sand.

Agreed.They are strictly filter feeders that use nitrates and phosphates as a food source.A lot of folks keep them in their fuge.
