Can Live Rock go dorment?

I got mine at Bulk Reef Supply and I'm very happy with it. Their replacement filters are very reasonable as well. An in-line TDS meter is a must as far as I am concerned so that you are aware of when your filters are needing changed.
The thing about tap water is its a risk. Some people live in areas where the tap is very low in nitrates and phosphates and they use it without issue. Others have a lot of contaminants in their water. Also risky because these levels can fluctuate in tap water and some contaminants cannot be tested for. RO/DI is much safer and if you ever do have an algae bloom or water chemistry problems, that's one puzzle piece that is already removed.
