brown polyps

i hav a bunch of brown polyps that are doing well in my tank , i started my tank a week ago , is it normal for them to pop up on LR or what? thanks

Did you put them in your tank, or did they come attached to some live rock you bought.

When I started I found some I thought were polyps. They were about the size of a pencil eraser. They turned out to be a type of mojano anemone. A pest anemone. Hope yours are not those. Here is a pic of the pest nem. It's just above center of pic.

what should i do if they are mojano anemones? i am trying to post a picture but i dont know how to. lol any help with that ?

also they are about they vary in between the size of a nickel and smaller ones the size of pencil erasers.

Its a little hard to see with that pic but i think you are right, that is a pest nem. I think the best way to get rid of them is with Aiptaisia X, you should be able to get that at your local LFS

Those look like aiptasia. Now is the time to deal with it. Try setting up an account with photobucket. Upload pics to there and after that just copy and paste the IMG code to your post and the pics will show up. I cant squint hard enough to see if thats what you got but sure looks like it. Joe's juice or aiptasia x will do the trick and set you back about 10 bucks.

Aiptasia X is your best bet, effective and no spreading.
Also maybe try a Pep shrimp, but its hit and miss. I have a pep and he loves aiptasia, got a guy to take 20 bucks off a rock that was full of mushrooms, with one huge aiptasia, put it in the tank, the pest nem was gone in nano seconds.
