I'm planning on going out to catch some brittle stars today. is there anything important that i should know based on other people's experiences? would they eat my beloved firefish?

A lot of people have reported the disappearances of fish. Brittle stars are known for indulging in other tank mates. If you can snatch up some serpent stars you'd be better off, at least IMO. I hand feed my little guy just to make sure he doesn't get a taste for fish. lol

I`m dealing with a person now that has lost two blennies due to a brittle star. It is very possible.

i think i have a hitchhiking baby star. i dont know if its a serpent or brittle, but its black and white striped. what would that most likely be.

Most of the little stars that hitch hike in are safe.So no need to worry about them.

im actually going grateful that i have more of them. im actually going to catch more later on.
Do Hermit crabs have to be drip acclimated also?

Some Companies say just to float them, but I like to drip everything. It's just safer. IMO
