FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet of marine fare for Omnivores, herbivores, carnivores. Will accept frozen, live, flake aquarium fare. Feed at least 2 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Large specimens may eat small crustaceans, will not harm sessile invertebrates.
CAPTIVE CARE - An aggressive fish as an adult and is not suited for the docile community tank, tankmates must be able to withstand the pugnacious nature of these fish, can be kept with larger dottybacks, angelfishes, puffers, provide suitable hiding places, a group of juveniles of this species is very colorful, as they mature will fight among themselves as well as pester any tankmate that cannot properly defend itself. An Excellent reef fish Keep only one per tank or a mated pair. The smaller the tank the more aggression will be observed.
