FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet, finely shaved fresh or frozen shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and frozen preparations containing spirulina algae. Feed at least 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - One of the best angelfishes for the reef aquarium.
CAPTIVE CARE - Will browse on filamentous algae and diatoms growing in the aquarium, Need plenty of swim space, constantly active, acclimates well, may chase small docile planktivores, Males may fight with other Genicanthus spp. One male to a tank.
