its normal for fish to not eat and hide or be unsocial when they are first introduced to a new environment. Give it some time, keep an eye on it for a few days and Im sure the fish will come around

A half-inch long clownfish is very small. The smaller they are, the lower their chance of survival. Try feeding it some different foods. It may be too small for what you are giving it.

thanks he came with a partner and the partner is doing just fine is this one sick i have been feeding it mysis shrimp brine shrimp(both frozen) and formula 2 flakes. is there anything else i should feed it?

+1 to knuckle and biff...

we had a few of those, they are really hard to get eating, :( good luck

From my own research on clown breeding, I've read that you should not remove the baby clowns from their breeding tank until they are at least one inch long. So if yours are half that size, then it's going to be a challenge to keep them alive. I don't think you should have bought such young clowns. They needed more time before they were put into a tank.

That's too bad. Stick with clowns that are bigger. Small ones, unfortunately, don't have good survival rates once taken out of the breeding tank :(

what sucks is the one that died i found out that it was a percula Picasso clown fish not a nemo clown fish and the picasso goes for about about $100 so that really sucks...
