Another algae question

Ok, so my tank is about a month old and might have rushed into things too quickly but I think it heading in the right direction. The tank went through a period where there was alot of algae covering the rocks ( brown thick kind ) and on the glass was clumps of algae. I bought snails and they wiped my glass down. Now however I am getting different algae...when my snails are going over it they arent picking it up. I can wipe my finger on the inside of the tank and it won't take it off. It is like a thin coating on the glass that seems hard to get rid of.

What is this and how can I fix it?

if you can take some pictures it would probably help out a little more with identifying it. Also if you can write your parameters. you know ammonia, nitrite, nitrates, etc.

sorry forgot to mention it but can you also tell us what equipment you have and what you have in the tank. Like how LR you have and LS, etc.

Could be a green turf type algae,or it could be the start of the purple plague.
Pics and the list of parameters will be needed on this one.
