my diamond goby did a great job too, might i suggest a bullet goby? I had one for quite some time in the early stages of my tank, and he kept my sand beautiful.

yep its perfectly normal. lawnmower blennies are algae grazers, and thats what he is picking off the rocks. Like Yote and Oscarsdad said, get him some algae sheets if you dont have much in there already.

Oh this hobby is definatly stressful...

i have a mag drive 7 from the sump, and a 350gph powerhead working also..

my surge protector fried. The one that ran the pump, powerheads and skimmer. I got everything plugged in unprotected except one powerhead and the skimmer...do you guys think ill be ok until i get out of work tomorrow to get a surge protector, or do i need to make an emergency run to wal mart?

very true, i feed mysis far more than flakes, but IMO some veggies cant hurt either, and ive yet to see any negative consequences.

I've been feeding flake food (not exclusively) since the beginning, and ive never had a nitrate or phosphate problem.

i never had good luck with pellet food personally, try some flake food and see how that works for you. As far as them going hungry, trust me, if they are hungry enough, they will eat. And to address the uneaten food, that little bit wont cause chaos, it will just be a treat for your CUC. Or...
