Good lord!!! That's expensive!! @monique!! The kill a watt says I run about 3kwh a day and my rate varies between 11-15cents per kWh for my for me it costs about $10-$14 a month just for my tank!

Thanks @salt_for_brains i guess I should have mentioned the live rock I have has been out of water for about 2 years. That makes me feel better about using it.

Every once in a while I will read some about feeding garlic or mixing it with food. Can I ask why this is done? Should I be doing it? I currently us reef frenzy should I mix it up with that? Just want a healthy thriving tank. Thanks
