    clean up crew

You did temperature acclimate them well. You'll want to make sure your additions get used to your water. I always picture it like me when I go snorkeling. When you "first" jump in the water it feels like ice water! Then after awhile it feels just right.

    clean up crew

Depending on how different your tank is from theirs, you'll want to acclimate longer than 15 minutes. +1 on the drip acclimation. If you don't feel like doing that you can roll down the top of the plastic bag your new addition is in, so it creates an air pocket and lets the bag float on its own...

    True Vs. tanked raised percula

Yeah maroons are quite awesome. You really have to design your tank around them though.

    bio load question

Also think of the bioload that comes with each fish. For example, a large lawn mower blenny will produce way more waste than a clown goby. You'll have a lot of fish to choose from!

    keeping sand alive

When I downgraded, my sand had tons of gunk. I cleaned my sand and you might want to do the same. The sand will become live again and your tank won't cloud up that much when being disturbed. I also think the sand might be releasing harmful things hen he was going it to you. I put the sand in a...

    Ipod Container In-tank Fuge : )

I took it out awhile ago. I moved the macro to the HOB fuge since I got a small light for it. If I didn't have another tiny light I would have kept it in the tank.

    First Fragging

Sorry about your sps. The zoanthids are super hardy. I irritated them a lot while cutting and they handled it fine.

    First Fragging

Well my first coral ever has grown a little since I got it. At first I wanted to let the zoanthids grow out onto a rock then just cut the rock when I needed, but I'm constantly working on the tank and I'd really hate to mess up the scape. So, I broke out some fragging equipment and read a lot...
