You could also add some of your cycled water to the new tank. I'm sure you have some rock you can take out of your 90 to help with the cycle also. If I lived closer and had a bigger tank I would totally help you out!

Thinking about going bare bottom with this tank. With the big move coming up, I figured it couldn't hurt since I'm discarding the sand anyhow.

The rock is up against the corner of my tank too. I think the only problem it could create is not getting much flow back there and waste building up. Also impossible to clean the glass without moving the rock. I say go for it!

So my little girl hates me I think lol. I did a water change and siphoned out the sand and she was attacking my hand the whole time. I then tried to take top down pictures of her and she kept trying to break the surface to get to me. Here is a video.

Thank you very much!! I was so antsy at first to get everything in and how I wanted it. As long as you keep up with it and take things slow(ish) everything should turn out ok. Needless to say, I'm obsessed with my tanks!
