    Kill my nudi's!!!

A couple of weeks ago I found one insainly small nudi on my joker zoas. Not happy so I plucked it off and flushed it. Then today I found 2 more. they are ridiculously small, (thats actually the size of them on my finger nail) and I need to know what to get to kill them. I never had a problem...

    Sebae anemone help!

Ok I cant see any of the pictures but your anemone bleaching isnt stress. Its dying. I know you want to give it a try, I know that you think your tank and you are different and together youll defy the odds. But Im sorry the truth of the matter is, your tank is to new and you are far to...

    Mystery Crab

Hermit crabs, and a lot of other crabs, are snail killers. Its just what they do and why a few of us dont like to keep them in our tanks. They are a good part of your CUC but you have to weigh the pro's and the con's For me murdering my snails isnt worth it. Plus they scare me.

    Clownfish behavior

Clownfish are just odd, so get used to asking yourself "WTF?!" With them Do you have a lot of rock in there? Caves for them to hide in? Mine hid on the side of my tank for a long while. And your fish will always act like they havent eaten in a month....if mine could knock on the glass with a...

    Killer Emerald crab?!

Crabs in general are little evil plotters!!! The reasons why I wont have them are 1-They can kill fish 2- They can murder snails 3- They can crawl out of your tank and look startlingly like a giant spider crawling across your floor causing a total freakout if you haven't had your morning coffee...

how to keep all levels where they need to be

Water changes will help considerably, also I would agree with the cheato. I dont have a fuge, so its just in my main tank but it is very helpful. Honestly I think with the RO water, cheato and maybe upping your water changes to once a week will help you out.

    Hippo with ich

Risky move my friend. Honestly, and please dont take this the wrong way, I think your reasoning and want for the fish overcame logic here. There is no way the LFS would take the fish back now and you have put a parasite into your tank there is really no getting rid of. I would STRONGLY urge...

    Hippo with ich

Wait he had an Ich Pile BEFORE you put him in the tank??? Honestly there isnt a lot that you can do for it now. The ich is in your tank and will always be in your tank, so you dont have a lot of options to getting rid of it. The best you could do is keep offering food and hopefully he pulls...

    Hiding Chromis

Honestly they are new to the tank, I wouldnt worry about it, all of my fish were the same way when I got them. Give them time to get used to their new surroundings, it could take a while but they will get over it and come out more

    approaching frustration

HAHAHAHA my fish would knock on the glass 24/7 if they could. I swear to god fish and dogs....and men....they ALL think they are constantly starving.

    approaching frustration

If you want my opinion, I think that cutting back on the feeding would help a bit as well. I used to feed every single day and consequently had higher phosphates and nitrates. I started feeding every other day and put my lights on a timer. I also added chaeto to my tank, and started a HOB filter...

    Hippo with ich

Not all Tangs get ich, they are susceptible to it because they are easily stressed out. How big is your tank? (Sorry I cant remember) Wasnt this the same fish that had the stringy poo, the one that little fish thought could have an intestinal parasite? You should always have seaweed available...

fish stores in orange county/ LA area?

I go through whole salers only. I dont like paying the prices that a store charges me, I know they need to make a profit but I would much rather give my list of what I want to someone who individually picks out my fish and brings them to me for 1/4 the price.

    Young Clownfish Question

When I first got my pair of clownfish, they didnt even have much of the black stripes on them. You could see their spines as well, however over the past few months as they have gotten bigger the black stripes have gotten prominent and their little spines werent so visible.
