Does bubble algae ever fully go away

From my understanding and personal experience, without taking the rock out and letting it sun dry no. I had it in my smaller tank when I first started. It was a PITA and every time you pop one it releases its evil little spores into the tank to breed.

    new reef aquarium

t5 generally arent a coral grower. At all. If it is a FOWLR (Fish Only With Live Rock) it would be fine because fish really dont discriminate on light. Traditionally people go with metal halide for lights, however there has been a growing movement into LED lights. Secondly there is an entire...

    Powerhead question for newbie

Dont be anxious, just learn from our mistakes :) I am not a big fan of doing epoxy. If you ever decide to move it around its sort of a pain to take apart and redo. With me I just start playing around and putting rocks together in a pretty stable formation. Dont make a "wall" of rock anywhere...

is a foxface a good idea

Well him bullying any other tang isnt really a newsflash, they dont like other tangs really. From the sounds of it he has an established habitat and I worry that if you put the new guy in someone will end up "sleeping with the fishes" ;)
