I had to flea bomb my house last year. I saran wrapped everything (they sell extra sticky heavy duty shipping style saran wrap at home depot) Then put a blanket on it. Make sure to do your sump if you have one too.

damn, the dimmable versions of those lights are only $112. I am tempted to try and make the jump to LED's now. My wife found a 125Gal for sale up the street with a nice stand for $350- The only reason I hadn't made the jump from the 90 was because we don't have $700-900 for a 6' MH/T5 light

I would up the water changes personally and try to scrub the rocks while you siphon

at the risk of asking a stupid question... can you overskim? why are you forced to sell it if its too big? Reason I ask is I have a big skimmer laying around that I was going to use on a smaller tank (30gal) until I find a cheap used HOB or something.

if it got sucked into a powerhead I am sure some nematocysts were what caused the first wave of death. Anemones don't just nuke a tank when they die, they will rot, as you mentioned, and cause an ammonia spike/cycle or their demise (i.e. meeting a powerhead) causes the tank to crash.
