Parameters excellent seeing signs of green hair algae on rock ?

I hate to argue, but elevated Magnesium does reduce Briopsis sp. as well as several other hair algae. Also, Magnesium is the third leg of a triple relationship between Calcium, Alkalinity and Magnesium. Your levels are high enough to prevent problems with the other two but if you see a tank...

Parameters excellent seeing signs of green hair algae on rock ?

You are probably seeing no excessive nutrients BECAUSE of the hair algae scavenging the free nutrients, so the algae may be keeping the nutrients barely measurable. If the problem is true green hair algae (briopsis sp.) then it can be reduced by elevating your Magnesium to about 1400 to 1450 and...

    Black Algae?

Another thing about leaving it alone, it is obviously growing because of it's perfect mix of micronutrients and if you remove it, those nutrients will probably cause it to go somewhere else. If it's not visually displeasing consider leaving it alone.

    Aptasia glue?

CrazyGlue gel works fine for just a very few. When they retreat just stick the nozzle in or around the hole and start globbing it out of the tube. A little squishing and wiggling while globbing will make it stick. Shortly, after it covers with purple you will not have anything but Aiptasia...

    how many tangs

Electricity and I have a strong respect for each other. I pay attention to its rules and I get no more "Opportunities to improve." I guess the biggest oops I ever had trying to DIY was tearing apart a Rochester Quadri-jet four barrel carb with no clue. I took the top all apart and flipped it...

    how many tangs

I'm the same way. If you look at my build thread you will see that I'm really willing to do about any project. I generally think about my end result, look for barriers and ways around them and start cutting wood / wire / pipes as appropriate to the project. I have taken a 220V shock and referred...

    how many tangs

I am generally very bothered by the idea of putting fish in a tank too small, even if planning to "trade in" when it gets too big. But at $29 in a 120 with only 2 clowns, he is serving his purpose. As long as he stays chill he stays there. sorry bout the hijack.

    how many tangs

I am impressed. I put a Powder brown into my tank with virtually no other fish at all. Now he is nasty to every fish and I don't even want to consider trying another tang....mine's a 4' 120G

    New Corals, Acros First attempt.

Your tank looks great, what size is the display? Your video mentions having several tangs, the Atlantic Blue Tang is known for aggression. I hope he does settle down for you. I kow a number of people who had trouble keeping one.

    Marinne's 65G LPS tank

If you can get a good picture and send it to John at ReefCleaners he can usually identify the problem and let you know what works on it.

    Marinne's 65G LPS tank

Do you have silicates? They will go right through a RO/DI and as long as they are present you will have diatoms and all sorts of other problems. Are you running GFO? Either that or the white ceramic looking Phosphate remover, either will pull Silicates too. It doesn't sound like dinos because...

    What am I missing?

I agree with Rock....some just get their little fish panties in a wad and don't come out for a while....He may be coming out before or just after the lights are on and you just don't see him sucking down pods....do you have pods in the system?

    Marinne's 65G LPS tank

May be a bit of dinos, could be diatoms? Either way I would just keep up the outstanding care and water changes and you ought to be okay.....Deep breath....seriously. If it's being eaten then it's just a matter for the CUC.... Remember, nothing good happens fast in this hobby...you don't need...
