I love my LEDs and for years I had full love for my MH/T5....If it weren't for the cost of the bulbs and the reduced pricing available for the LEDs I would still use them, the MH/T5s are amazing lights....If not for the bulbs and the heat I would never have changed...I know my bulb / light...

I always just siphoned them real good about 4 or 5 times and they always seem to go away after that....I use a piece of flexible airline to a hard airline piece that I use like a wand to get them....

Mine are both fine unless I have my turkey blaster in my hand...then the little Misbar goes nuts....full attack mode....he will jump an inch out of the water to bite my finger... Funny thing is...he doesn't attack the turkey blaster, just me....

MANY clear flatworms eat corals...I don't trust any of the little bastiches every since my experience with AEFW....ALWAYS dip and quarantene ALL corals....

realize that if you do this wrong they will nuke all your fish...that's why I emphasized being ready when you start.....

Definitely red planaria flatworms....siphon out all you can and consider FW Exit, but carefully consider the instructions....get the charcoal ready because if you see a few you have many and they give off a toxin when they die....

How long has the tank been running? That's a monsterous stocking plan....must be nearly stuffed!

It all settles after a couple days....no issues.... Are you making the salt water then putting it in? If not you are doing a long freshwater soak of whatever is in the tank already.... I would just pour the sand in and level it out with your hand, the currents are going to distribute it...
