They were in a 44gal. To my surprise they didn't pick at each other. All of the fish in the tank get along great (2clowns 3 damsels, 1 starry blenny). I'm still treating the main tank with the ich attack just in case but they seem to be doing very well so far.

I do have inverts but no coral. I was planning on adding some Zoanthids this week however. Ich Attack is supposed to be safe for inverts & coral according to the label (herbal remedy). The flame angel and lemonpeel angel ended up dying over this past weekend :(

I've read conflicting articles on whether or not these zoas can sting a human and give out poison/allergic reaction when handling. Is this so? Has anyone experienced a sting while handling them? Is there really a need to wear protective gloves while doing maintanance or putting them into the tank?

Can anyone suggest a good micro-plankton to feed these zoas?

To make matters more interesting I just looked a little closer at the Flame angle and now it appears to have ich! I bought some Kordon Ich Attack and started treating the whole tank. I isolated the Flame into a QT and added Lifeguard tabs to cure her ich.

Formula Two marine pellets mixed with spirulina pellets once daily on a timer. Every other day I add just enough green seaweed on a veggie clip that can be eaten within a few hours.

I'm trying to figure out why my flame angel is losing its beautiful bright coloring all of a sudden. All the other fish in the tank are doing just fine. I've had the flame since the beginnning of this year. Any suggestions?

Is it true that having a refugium in your sump increases the chances of killing most pods being sucked back through return pump? I heard it may be best to do a HOB refugium due to that fact.

If I get 1" flexible PVC tubing what size plastic clamps should I get to hold it in place to the outflow side of the water pump? should the clamps be exactly 1" outside diameter or should I get a little bigger...1.5" OD for a little slack?

Being that filter socks clog up fairly and need cleaning every day or two to avoid overflowing, what should I do if I go on vacation for a few weeks If there's no caretaker? Just take the filter sock off while gone? I'm guessing it's not really a big deal if I leave the sock off?
