When I moved my 29 gallon into my 55 i moved everything, water, sand ect. I did have a small nitrate spike because I did have some of my CUC end up dying but other than that everything turned out alright.

if you're running a sump you wont have to worry about it. Water gets oxygen by agitation so if you don't have a sump you can take a power head and aim it towards the surface of the water. As long as there is movement there will be transfer of oxygen.

Choco's are nasty little critters. They eat stuff very quickly. Could've even eaten your bubble tip. I had a choco eat my Sabae one time.

Do you need to cycle dry rock at all? My LFS has a shit ton of rock they make themselves its very porous. Wasnt sure if when I buy it i can wash it off and stick it directly in the tank or do I have to let it cure for a while before hand.

I have a 6 Bulb 36" T5 HO i had on my 29 gallon. I now have a 55 (that is the same depth) but the bulb is like 6 inches short on both sides. I still have a ton of light and everything is growing fine but I was told that 6 inches on both sides will cause me problems (not sure how).

Anyone have any opinions on this fish? I love how it looks but I do have alot of soft corals, are they reef safe?
