Purchased a 14gallon BioCube, and some goodies.

I don't know about the chempure. I loved my 14g biocube when I had it, great way to start. You'll have fun. Make sure to keep the front flap open and a powerhead rippling the surface for gas exchange. I did not have luck with a pair of clowns in there. Aggression. It's more fun to do a clown and...

    Watchman Goby question

Loooong time. I had a skittish watchman that I swear I saw 3 times in 8 months. It was beyond annoying! Then I bought the chalk bass and I don't know why, if it was a dither fish thing or what, but, the watchman moved his cave to the front and he's out now all the time. Won't even budge out of...

    HELP!!!

Fun stuff to come home to after a long weekend :) If you think it's going to go long you can toss some liverock in the bucket too, some good bacteria to help break down the fish poo so ammonia doesn't rise...

Really Tiny Feather dusters, Or maybe Aiptaisias ?

For over a year I had about 50 of these on one rock in my tank. Little filter feeders. They'd retract into their tube when disturbed. They gradually disappeared. Very tiny.

Ha! I love it Kurt, it is more nerve-racking than marriage, this is serious, this is saltwater. That should be my new tagline. I'll steal the concept from you. Sounds like you've got a good plan in place.

    Sarah's new 60 gallon!

Hi Bob! (and you grumpy old troll) Thanks for your kind words :) I think I got the kessil light because I wanted to spend some money on the tank. It's been up and established for so long now that I felt like throwing some cash at it :) I love my marineland reef capable lights. I never wanted...

    Thinking about a six-line

You can have a six line in a FOWLR. Reef tank just means it has corals. Six Lines don't need corals. He'd be very happy in your tank. :)

Canister Filter for a Reef tank

Having a sump lets you have a place to put equipment so that it isn't in your main tank. Again, nice to have, but, not necessary. You will just use a different style of skimmer on your tank if you don't want to have a sump.
