More surface agitation will force the film into your overflow. This is actually quite common in tanks that do not have sufficient surface movement.

Just wondering how you can settle on a fish without knowing the requirements to keep it? Half this hobby is research. I would suggest not moving forward until you know what the fish needs and if you are able to care for it.

I have had several PB tangs. All were fine in my tank. My Yellows have always been more aggressive with new fish. As the last one in, he will be fine as far as temperament goes, but watch both your yellow and hippo tangs as they tend to be much more aggressive with new tangs in my experience.

You can change them all at once. If you do, cut back your photo period by 3 hours. Each week increase it by a half hour until you are back to your normal lighting schedule. That is what Most people do when replacing T5 or MH bulbs.

Again, probably misaligned. I run 2 mp40's and 2 mp10's (on different tanks)and I do not hear them at all.

If your mp40's are making noise then you most likely have them misaligned.

Those pumps are burning out here in Calif.
