I think it is a better salt. Mixes super quick, and clean. Salinity always left a white residue on everything.

I used Salinity for quite a while, I switched over to Red Sea.

Kessil A360w is the way I would go if a Radion Pro is out of the question. The A360 can run off a controller as well. They just came out with the A360E as well and those are supposed to be even better. Do your research Smitty, but I would be mostly looking at these in that price range.

The green one is indeed a Meteor Shower. Place them both low in the tank to start. The red May be a chalice, but the pics honestly are not good. It you are able to get a couple more, in focus, and maybe a little closer it may make it easier to identify.

Or better yet, leave the sharks in the ocean where they really belong and can thrive.

Anytime medications are added to your tank you should shut the skimmer down. The chemicals will make it go ape shit crazy like you are experiencing now. Do another water change, and wait a day or 2 then turn your skimmer back on.

I use the Alk checker religiously. I also have the Phosphate checker, and the Calcium checker. The Calcium checker, is accurate, but a pain in the ass to use. The other 2 are simple as pie to use, and as quick or quicker than any other test.

I've seen them both before. The top ones are very nice.
