LFS said that in a 120g the salinity changes so infrequently and a properly calibrated refractometer is so quick and easy to use that the money is better spent on an ATO or something else. For ATO, I think I will be plumbing in a RO/DI (it should be a very simple 1 hour project) in my basement...

Man, this is something I want to learn about. There are just too many things that I want to learn about and this is a few rungs down that ladder.

I am kicking around the idea of a 14g nano or something of that nature in my office. Has anyone had success with this? I do not have a huge office or anything like that. Multiple people would have access to the tank, including a cleaning crew. Wouldn't see it on the nights and weekends.
