I too am interested in seeing where this thread goes.

For it to have a noticeable effect on parameters, don't you need a significant sized fuge? I plan on building a 10g fuge, but I do not expect to see any parameter change. It is more for the pods. Please correct me if I am dead wrong.

Hopefully not. I am hoping the water pressure from the RO/DI unit will have just enough pressure to make it upstairs. If I am going to require an external pump to get the water up, the a float switch will be the route I go.

I don't have an answer to your question but wanted to add I never considered that my powerheads could be the reason that the new 120g we just setup on Wednesday could be constantly over 80 due to the 2x 1500gph powerheads.
