Very nice flame :) for the mush frags, with the one i bought it refused to stick to the rock wtih the rubber band, I had to throw it in a little plastic bowl with eggcrate on the to to get it to attach. It only took a day or two to attach after that.

I would personally throw the 250 - 300$ on one. Cheap skimmers seem to be more trouble then they are worth.

+1 Fishy I have two in my tank and every morning I have to do a quick inventory of corals and frags because my booger of an urchin likes to tote frags and such around the tank. It also rip out some frags that were epoxied or super glued as well.

If you have a good ammount of algae there is a good chance your nitrate and phosphate lvls are actually higher. Chaeto is great but it will take a while to get the nitrates down, if you are feeding flake or pellets I would look into some frozen food instead, the flake can have quite a bit of...

Hopefully she is just hiding :( I know the scooter will eat just as much as the mandarin because it is basically a non-colorful dragonette. They can be really sensitive to nitrates as well, have you tested lately?

Too much added at once I would say. If I were you I would look into returning the sailfin tang, they need much much bigger tanks (I believe its a 180 they need with 6ft of swimming room) and will perish in a small tank. Get some water changes ready and wait a few weeks before you add another fish.

cute :) if the fish/ shrimp are scared of the camera you could keep it next to the tank for a bit to get them used of it.

its one of the new corals on afk's website lol. The thing is downright nightmare material lol, didnt get it out yet the brain is beyond poofy lol. Ill try either after i turn out the lights or in the morning, and ill share some pics if i am sucessful.

I know im prolly gonna freak when i get him out lol. Those pics give me the chills. Can i superglue the hole after i take him out? If it was any other coral I would have, just scared that it will hurt the brain.

I personally wouldnt do hermits, but I am anti hermit lol. I would probebly just do something small, like a royal gramma or a tank bred clown. I have a 20g that is eventually going to be a frag tank and was thinking maybe a damsel or the previous mentioned two.
