    Reef Safe Angels?

These are the two dwarf angels that nearly wrecked my reef. IME definitely not reef safe.

Got myself a new Yellow Tang!

I agree with Yote. Remember they are herbivores and need lots of vegetable matter. I feed my tank everyother day but feed dried seaweed on the off days for the tangs. Where are the pics?

What you add in with these fish?

A nice blenny or goby would be nice. I also agree NO anthias in a tank that small.

    Should I do it?

I agree that the tank is too small. The mantis will attack anything in the tank.

My tang has long stringy poop

I`ve heard of this too. What Larry mentioned is great stuff.

    They prefer Flake food now

The key to feeding fish is a variety. I feed my tank flake and frozen every other day and on the off days I feed dried seaweed for the tangs.

My tang has long stringy poop

When it`s white and stringey then it`s usuall internal parasites. They make a fish food that you can feed your fish that treats for internal parasites. Cant remember if it was at petsmart or petco but one of them had it.

    Triton the Kole Tang

They are a great fish for the SW tank. Mine is 8 yrs old right now. That is a great pic.

    silly clown

Mine would never host the anenome. Only my corals. Strange isnt it.

    $$$

I stopped adding at 8000 dollars. It was worth it though. Just my LR was 200 lbs at 8.99 a lb.

    First coral ever!

It`s not a good idea to do a complete PWC in SW. The chemical make up is changed so drastically. You are better to do frequent PWC`s so as not to change the make up of the water. FW might be different.

    Losing Interest

Matt, How can you have a nice looking tank like that and be bored? With a tank like that you`ll get NO sympathy from me. LOL. Get some new fish Matt. Are the clowns killing the other fish? If so they need to go.

    Debelius' Reef Lobster

I`m by no means trying to talk you out of it. Just didnt want you to plan on this being the showpiece for your tank.

i bet this is a stupid question

I have some corals that are 12 yrs old. They have grown 4 to 5 times during that span but you would never be able to tell the difference in two months. Maybe 1 to 2 yrs. BTW it`s not a dumb question at all.

    Debelius' Reef Lobster

Mine has been in the tank for 7 yrs now. Been reef safe for me. Here is a pic of him. BTW I`ve only seen him 8 times in 7 yrs.

Open Brain doesn't like even mod flow

Mine like low flow also. It can be low but it does need some.

    Which anemone?

I would also recommend the BTA. Just so you know there is no guarantee your clown will host the anenome. When I got it my clowns would totally ignore my anenome. I finally took it back to the LFS. I know of several others that had the same experience.
