They need a very mature tank. I always suggest a tank at least a year old. They feed of of microbes in the tank. I have had/have three linknias.

I like the bristle tooth tangs. They do a great job cleaning the rocks and glass.

I agree that the regal needs a bigger tank. IMO they need a 6 ft tank.

I feed my tank every other day. On the off days I put a sheet of dried seaweed in the tank for my tangs. Been doing this for 12 yrs now. The fish in my tank have been there between 8-12 yrs now. Variety is always a key.
