    Opinions on fish food

    Variety is the key. I feed mine Flake, vitamin fortified Brine (frozen), frozen mysis, and dried seaweed. Nothing wrong with frozen just thaw it out and try to pour out the water before adding to the tank.

    Did the butterfly go in your reef tank? Keep a close eye out for your corals. Not reef safe. Anyway I believe after a few day they will start to get along.

    I`m sure they got the dreaded brown jelly disease. It`s usually caused by trauma to the fleshy part coming out of the skelaton. Mostly see it happen to LPS corals.

    When they say reef safe they are not only talking corals. It could also mean inverts in the tank that help out in the reef. With your wrasse I`m sure he`s not safe for your inverts. As far as the corals there could just be a pod or flat worm or something he wanted to feed off of.

    I agree too. He`s just acclimating himself to the tank. Give him a few days and he`ll be out and around before you know it.

    Angels - Anyone have success with these in a SPS reef?

    Also not a good fish for the reef tank. I know of one case that it wrecked his reef. Had to bite the bullet and tear down the tank to get it out.

    Cleaner wrasse?

    The few I ever had only lasted 4 months at the most. As mentioned above they have a diamal survival rate.
