One trick that has worked for me is to place the net in the tank for a few days. Anytime you feed the fish feed them in the net, once they become use to the net then you can just net it.

Your tank is looking really nice, I think the best thing you have for this hobby is patience. That combine with your research will take you far. I constantly have to tell myself that nothing good happens fast in a reef tank. I look forward to seeing your next update.

My biggest issue with a 55 is how narrow it is, I have this issue with my 45. A 75 or 90 will give you more front to back space which is great in the display and a must in the stand. It is a real issue fitting a sump in a narrow stand. Narrow stand means smaller sump which means smaller skimmer...

Good advice Anthony BRS recommends curing there dry rock for a month before adding to the tank or a month in the tank no light before adding livestock of any kind.
