+1 d2...I was using a Sterilite brand sump for a while...it developed microcracks. I kept trying to figure out where this slow leak was coming from. Emptied out the sump, cleaned it, and upon close inspection, saw micro cracks at the bottom seams.

Indeed they are aiptasia. Kill them w/ Joe's Juice or Aiptasia X....make sure to turn off all water flow before applying.

Honestly, they probably just couldn't handle the stress of the move. But I still doubt it was the ball nem. Sometimes they just die. LOL on a side note, I googled "Pineapple shrimp" and found tons of recipes for shrimp with pineapples :D *nom nom nom*

How did you acclimate the shrimp? And what are your levels? It's possible the shrimp died from the stress of the move, and his body drifted into the ball anemone. Inverts are very sensitive to changes. I've had shrimp crawl over my ball nem colonies to no ill effects.

You can always call the company for replacement charts. I once lost my cards for my API brand test kit. Called them up, and they immediately sent me replacements, free of charge!

Salinity is a little high...shouldn't be higher than 1.026, but I doubt that was the cause. Have you had any parameter swings? Temp or salinity or anything else? Stray voltage? You might never find out what caused it, but I'd worry that the torch isn't doing well.

If you're handy, you can also do a DIY PVC overflow. Very inexpensive. This video seems good about explaining how it works and how to make it. You can shorten your pipe to fit your 10g. You can test it with a bucket in the tub.

Fish are 50/50....they maybe be reef safe, but it doesn't mean they will follow what they're supposed to do ;) But if it's the right one, it's more than likely to be reef safe (but again, each fish is different)
