Mine would always sit on my hand. I could cup my hand at the top of the tank, no matter where he was he would swim up, and just sit there. And if I didnt cup my hand, he would sit across the top when I had the feeding tube. Would never eat when my hand was in the tank. Too busy lying down on it...

Kijiji is a good bet bud. I really dont think you will get close to 10 grand. If you are a good DIY'er it will help a lot. You could buy a bare tank, build your own stand solely of 4x4 and 2x4 and some MDF or Plywood ect. Build your own LEDs, which gives you no limits on coral if you choose it...

Strips are notorious for giving false inaccurate readings. Test tubes. Or liquid testing is the way to go.
