    Marinne's Reef

I would go with a Chevron Tang. They are pricey, but awesome to look at!

    Marinne's Reef

Have you had them before and had issues? Or just heard about people with problems? Like I said, we are running 10s, 25s, and 40s on a ton of our set ups and have not once, had any issue so far. If you're going to have a lower gph pump circulating the tank, I'd still recommend putting some...

How come you don't like the WPs? I use them on a ton of set ups, and have not had a problem so far lol

750 isn't bad as far as turning the tank around. I'd do more flow inside the tank then mp10s. Invest in some Wp 25s or 40s. Pretty nice bang for their buck. And that's a pretty large sump. Gonna do a refugium as well?

I agree with Rob. I don't keep SPS in my DT so I have a severely under-sized skimmer in my sump. My LPS and Softies have done great this way since I set the tank up :)

Daniel's JBJ Advanced LED 28 gallon reef aquarium

Looks good bud. I like the less-rock look personally. Sure you are gonna be able to handle the downgrade? 90 Gallons is a huge drop :p

    Shep's 20 Gallon Reef

Patience is good to have lol. Don't worry though, do your water changes and take care of the tank. The corals will do what they are suppose too :). Keep in mind though, certain things flourish under particular conditions. For example, Acros like pristine water, while zoos prefer "dirty" water...

    Marinne's Reef

Check out aquatraders.com for the return pump. They have some pretty beefy ones that aren't too expensive. They also have replacement parts readily available in case anything ever goes wrong. Also another thing to consider, are you guys going to end up moving anytime in the near future? A 180...

Tank and stand? 300 isn't bad at all. And if the scratches aren't too serious, it would be a awesome improvement. Drilled? Edit: If you do decide to go for it, make sure you leak test it. That's a lot of water to have spilling out :p

Glad to hear you are staying positive! I'm gonna be tearing down my 60 gal cube and replacing it with a 70 (60 was Acrylic. NEVER again.)

    60 Gallon Cube

Thanks, I interrupted their cycle by moving the tank. Also have since added a pair of Mocha Clowns, as well as a Black Snowflake and Wyoming White to the breeding tank. Need to get two more pieces of plexi glass cut. The single pieces aren't dark enough and don't have enough algae build up. They...

    90gl clean up

Different lighting changes how certain corals look. Don't be surprised if some of your corals change colors on you now ;)

O know what have I done!

What's with the legit center overflows lol? Other then that, loving the footprint of that bad boy. Lots of potential! :)

On top of that, the heater malfunctioned. Looks like the new generation is going to have to wait for the next clutch of eggs :(

    60 Gallon Cube

Not good signs so far. Looking like a split hatch night. About half hatched last night, and half didn't. There's about 10-15 fry that are surviving right now... but I'm not too hopeful on the other eggs hatching tonight. Oh well! First clutch of many!

    60 Gallon Cube

Eggs should be hatching tonight. I'll keep you posted. So far, about 80-100 of the eggs have made it to the silver eyes stage. We'll see how many survive the hatch night!
