i have 3" pvc pipe but it floats will the fittings sink or do you have to weight them down?

so far the niger trigger is a good boy doesn't bother anything or any other fish in the tank but man is he a hog he alone eats about a half a cube of mysis shrimp and he is only about 3" long

not really sure i dont have to dose my tank yet but im sure i will sooner or later

well i know there are trace elements that get replenished with the water change that you may not be dosing if nothing else go longer between them and see how it goes

They may call it a gate valve but a true gate valve can not be a 90 degree angle only straight thru. A globe valve yes

But fact still remains u do not have a gate valve on your skimmer

the top one is not a gate valve it would be a stop valve

cool thanks erin and so far he has been good. it was funny when i put him the tank i saw him with the cleaner shrimp so i got up to see what was going on and he was getting a cleaning he even opened his mouth and let the shrimp clean the inside of his mouth i thought it was cool
