    Blue Throat Trigger Pair

So my wife has decided that we don't have enough fish in our tank. Recently dealt with some algae issues which have mostly subsided due partially to a power outage while I was on vacation a while back. We lost several fish and some inverts due to this She saw the blue throat trigger at the...

I'm new to this website and not much expeirence for saltwater

If your water tests are coming back normal, there is no harm in using the sand and rock that you have for a reef tank

A reef generally has multiple fish (some small) fish and a plethora of inverts. None of those are safe with a grouper hence not being 'reef safe'

    Halchiores wrasse experiences

I've got a line on an orange Timor wrasse (halchiores Timorensis) I'm going to look at it tomorrow. I've seen mixed things on the Halchiores family of wrasses, are these guys generally reef safe? Hi new here and have question on black cap basslet and inverts

You can make it easier to catch a fish using egg crate to divide the tank width wise. Taking a fish out usually sucks. I've found the best method is just to remove rocks and use the egg crate and slowly move in on the fish taking away it's places to hide.

Too sick. & thin to ignore !

I would make sure that tang gas access to seaweed all the time. Clean water and lots and lots of green will help As far as cyanide collection, it's used with some fish more than others, and in some locations more than others. The only symptom I am aware of is super bright coloration in the fish

    New Leds on the 90

It's definitely a much different look than t5's. My problem has always been the light spill over because of the height above the tank

Hi new here and have question on black cap basslet and inverts

Yeah, I tried a purple pseudo, he was fine at first but after a month he started bullying things one at a time. The day I was going to try and catch him he got sucked up by the Vortech. Is it bad that there was no feeling of guilt there?

    120 gal fish ideas?

The grouper and the lion fish, which are both listed as reef safe with caution. It should also be noted that groupers can (and will) eat any fish that will fit in their mouth

    120 gal fish ideas?

At least two of those fish will not play nicely with most inverts, including the shrimp listed as well as the assortment of critters used to help keep a tank clean
