Yeah, just did a 5g wc yesterday and vacuumed my sand bed...I couldnt get all the spots

so I am still having diatoms on the sand bed and my tank is almost 2 months old...not sure why it isn't going away, I am using RO with a silicate DI cartridge and a 20% WC weekly I also have chaeto in the back chamber but it doesn't seem to be growing at all?? not sure why as I do feed heavy...

I also don't like scarlet cleaners, they maul corals when you feed...so if you have a reef tank, I would advise against one

don't get an angel, they will eventually nip...have you thought about a cardinal? my old one ate a ton my cardinal also never took crap from anyone, he would chase other fish off and my yellow tang never messed with him

Thats not bad...I did just evict my 4 hermits from the cube, cant feed my acans without them trying to steal it so they got thrown in the 65g fowlr It was funny because I use a cup for feeding, put the food in and add tank water so I just threw them in there to transport...those fattys all had...
