    Reef Aquarium Parameter Excel Spreadsheet

Matt hasn't been on here in a couple years so I think you are on your own on adding the new points.

Cycling with table shrimp question, take it out or leave it in?

You can take it out. You just wanted to get the cycle kick started. Your dry rock probably had more to do with starting it than the shrimp did any way. Now keep an eye on your nitrites then nitrates.

    dry live rock

If it has been dry that long I wouldn't worry about do anything to it. Someone else may have a different opinion but I have had no issues with adding rock like that.

    Atlantic blue tang

Are you introducing them at the same time? The Atlantic tang will eventually be the dominant tang but yes they can coexist or get along as long as you have a enough tank to support them.

    I need HELP!!!!!!!

Apparently I have been moving really slow:D I have unloaded all but a couple pieces of coral. Man my tank is bare. I have a couple of fish to let go and then some aquascaping to do to get ready for a couple S.gigantea anemones and a Ritteri. Let the fun begin:)

How to get mini carpet out of acclimation container

Lol. I know you're probably not laughing but I couldn't help myself:D Keep in mind you need to be patient and gentle. Here are some things I have done: Massage the foot with your finger or use an ice cube and rub on the foot or take the cup out of the tank and heat it up on the bottom where the...

KILLER HERMIT CRABS ON BOTTOM FEEDERS!?!?!

I agree with Steve. The fish has to be dead or on its last leg for the hermits to get them. My diamond goby will pick up any hermit in its area and transport it to the other side of the tank. If your parameters are in line....It sounds more like you are not getting a healthy fish and/or...

    Brown algae

My first piece of advice is don't listen to your LFS. There are some good ones out there but it doesn't appear yours is in that select few. It was a good move buying your own test kit regardless of what your LFS said. Second piece of advice is go slow. Patience is your friend in this hobby. You...

Another hitchhiker but this time an LPS?

Doesn't look like galaxea to me. The skeleton looks to be Euphyllia of some type.

    Aptasia

I guess I should of explained better--- you can draw up boiling water in a syringe and inject it into the aiptasia. ;)

New here but have been "fishing" a while now

Hi and welcome to LR! I would give the PVC weld idea a try. You would know pretty quick if it will work.

    Aptasia

Definitely aiptasia standing tall and proud. Nuke it with Aiptasia X or lemon juice or boiling water. The bottom one looks like a small bubble tip anemone but it isn't a real good pic so it is hard to be 100%. By the way, what are you if you are almost Serbian?:D
