    red mandarin drragonet

For the mandarin it doesn't matter on space, very true. The space for live rock is needed for his source of food. They eat every 15 seconds. They don't just swim around the tank, they are constantly hunting. You can convert them to man made food, but it takes along time and still doesn't...

    red mandarin drragonet

First off the butterfly is to large for a 30g. The mandarin is a very ferocious Eater of copepod and you'll need at least 100 lbs of lr to support its eating habits or continually stock copepod in a separate tank for them to breed and grow. I would stay away from these guys Imo with a 30g tank...

Maybe you should live in a toyota tacoma for a day, bathroom included and windows up then tell everyone here how easy it is. Then I will agree with the trigger in a 29g.

    Plumbing Question

There is alot of ways to get this done. You can't use pvc to connect to a barb. If you use a barb, you'll need flex tubing. If you use pvc, you can convert to flex hose via the hose bib. I made my own return with 1 inch pvc to a threaded to a unilock. Try getting clear flex hose if you are...

    hello

Cheato is a fast growing macro but that really doesn't apply to the set up in the tank. This creature does need room to swim and the ball of cheato take up 1/2 of the already undersized tank. let's take a look a little closer. I am 2 1/2x's bigger than you, that is just the dt alone, not...

    Sump 101

I've had my gate valves in for a year now. They work flawlessly. I have 2 ball valves to isolate the return pump and they have frozen up. I am afraid of turning harder on them because they may break. Once again, the control on the gate valve is outstanding in comparing it to the ball valve in...

    Identification assistance

If you move #2 lower in the tank or it came from a tank that it was to close to the lights. It does look bleached and will become dark purple with a neon green mouth. It will turn out to be a very nice piece. Just keep it lower in the tank.
