    35g hex tank update

There are NO tank bred tangs. Every single one you see and have seen come from the wild. Dont forget the dozens that die for the few that make it to the stores.

    Mushroom Kingdom !!!

That can be a very mixed blessing, they are well known for taking over tanks. Among some circles they are known as Kenya weed. I would make sure you keep them confined to one part of the tank

    Mushroom Kingdom !!!

    dipping corals

Yes that is true, but if you have been disease free so far, why not work at keeping it that way and then deal with an issue if it does come up?

    Purple or Achilles Tang?

+1 salty Even with them eating like pigs they are still so susceptible to stress that they still come down with horrible ich infections and they die.

    dipping corals

I always dip corals. LFS are the casual encounters section of cragslists, all sorts of stuff comes in and you never know what they are bringing with them. I would dip any future corals you get. You known you have an infection when corals start dying or you see unwanted hitchhikers in the...

Emergency Snail ID Dieing snail found on sidewalk

I think the snail is going to be a goner. Sitting in the cold, then being put in freshwater and then being put in saltwater is more than these guys can handle. People seem to forget that snails and crabs are really quite delicate, much more so than fish and all of these drastic swings are...

What sort of light do you have over the tank? Mushrooms tend to get huge in low light situations

    35g hex tank update

+1 Waddi I also find this comment especially funny because you joined this forum in January and only set your tank up a month ago, and yet you seem to think you can ignore the advice of people who have been doing this for years but your statement implies that length of time in the hobby is of...

+1 salty The clown will be fine if you move your rocks around though, they are very hardy. I think about the only way you could stress a clownfish is to put it in an overcrowded tank.

    Light broke

I would get some of the strip LEDs, they are pretty cheap and should last a very long time. I have a good link for this at home, I will post here later.
