    Cylindrical aquarium

I am not sure where you be able to get one, but make sure you can stand to look at one. Many of the curved tanks make people sick or give them headaches to look at them for long periods of time because of the distortion of the view.

Oh No! I have ich! What do I do?

+1 everyone. The best way to treat and prevent ich (and most other disease out breaks) is to prevent the fish from being stressed, so keep your fish in an appropriately sized tank, that isn't overstocked and they will heal themselves.

    Koralia failure

It's all in how you position the powerhead. You can make the flow bounce off rocks or the glass to defuse it

    PBTA Feeding help

Actually if you have the proper lighting to keep a nem, you shouldnt need to feed it. Many people theorize that some anemone deaths in captivity are due to people over feed and feeding improper foods to their nems, which I would believe. It is best to feed them small foods (like chopped up...

    Anemone question

+1 Erin They are not designed to eat such large pieces of food and it can be very damaging to their gut.

    28 gallon JBJ nano startup.

If the rock has been dry for a month, it is no long live, its just dry rock. You should get some actual live rock and do toss in the piece of shrimp to get the cycle going. It might also be good to look for a new LFS if they sold you that rock at a higher price because it was "live", or at the...

Just joined, glad to be here

Hello and Welcome! Most people don't use the wet/dry stuff any more, there are more efficient things to keep your water quality. However, on a 28 gal tank all you really need are water changes

    Nice to join.

Hello and Welcome! Your tank looks very nice! Evaporation is just part of the hobby, and the bigger the tank the more evaporation you are going to have. I would highly suggest uncovering the top of your tank, the cover with cut the light that can reach your corals, it holds in more heat and...

I would move them to the bottom and give them a week

    Koralia failure

If you contact koralia they will replace the impeller for free because of the issues with the casing over the magnet breaking. Also also believe the casing is to prevent water from reaching the magnet, which for reason I dont fully understand, causes it to swell.

    Sick candy canes

There really arent any phosphate kits on the market I would trust to get an actual phosphate reading, but the fact you have cyano tells me you do have a phosphate/nitrate issue and potentially a flow issue as well. I would assume the LFS had slightly better water quality than you do, so they...

    Sump/Frag tank equipment

I think the Par28 bulb is an excellent suggestion, that is what I am running over my tank with fantastic results.

    The 40B.

Looks like you are off to an awesome start! Also, you have the lights, there is no need to wait on the corals. Now, that doesnt mean you can just put a bunch of SPS in there and expect success, but there are lots of corals out there that will do great in a beginner tank. Almost any soft coral...
