Erin's tineh tank EXTRAVAGANZA!

I too had and still do just not as bad Cyano bacteria. I also like zuatrapatuare was using instant ocean. I now use the reef crystals. It has reduced quite significantly . I used to have to siphon my sand every week, it has been 3weeks now without needing it. Good luck with your hair algae Erin! ........ Water herpes. Hahahaha

Heres another for instant ocean and a GD cyano problem. Didn't consider the salt, maybe it's time for a change. Don't give up hope Erin, my tank is pretty shameful at the moment too.

Ok this is good info thanks every one I'm going to start a thread on this. Also I have to say the same Erin with my 4g I excepted the up keep for what hell it could bring.

I don't have any cyano or HA issues in my current tank and had very little cyano and HA when I was running the 7 gal edge nano. I'm using seachem reef salt.
Good to hear your winning the battle Erin

Update!

I adopted a jammy cardinal from a local dude and he broke off some other stuff for me, too. Wooo finally making a comeback after the move.

Right? He has a mated pair who would just beat the crap out of her when they spawned.

She's probably three inches plus nose to tail.
