dkh-11/196.9-this test is confusing.....

my corals dont seem to grow as they should,my sps seem bland and brown, they slowly die or just dont grow,I have one green monti thats growing. lps is fine but doesn't grow for crap, and only my gsp is noticeable growing(but still slow) all my zoas dont grow very fast. At most 1-2 new polyps a month.I have a 20g long sump full of chaeto, and some rubble. When i first set up my tank everything was fine.as its been maturing its going downhill it seems.I have been Running a DIY led light,50/50 blue to white both dimmable 3w leds and there are 32 leds total.I stuck my T5 light on the tank to see if it was the lights.

some pics yellow polyps before and after

Welllll,,,lets start diggin.

1) What fish do you have in there?
2) Whats the flow like in the tank?
3) What's your mag. levels?

How many times a week are you feeding the corals and how long are you running your lights during the day?

You should try a shorter photoperiod . I used to run my lights twelve hours and for the past month I cut it down to about eight hours and I've seen a major difference in growth and color with my zoas and acros.
