feeding

How do you determine how often to feed a fish?// I have a black/white percula(?) --I feed her in small increments but she seems like she would eat until she busts?? any tips would be appreciated--oh yeah..40 gallon acrylic 40 pounds of LR --10 gallon sump with live rock in it as well---plus a skimmer

I feed only what my fish will eat in 1-2 mins, twice a day. You don't want to over do it because you can mess your water quality up quickly. Some people feed every other day, some every few days.

For clownfish, so far I haven't seen any problem of feeding too much. Like Smitty said, it could mess up your water fast though. They eat more, they poop more. On the other hand, they also grow bigger faster when they eat more. For my fish babies, I feed them many times a day and increase the tank temperature to increase their metabolism to make them grow very fast.
