Stop Hammer Time...

Went to the LFS today for some supplies and ended up with an impulse buy. A nice piece of hammer. The tips looked much greener in colour at the shop, got me thinking more on my bulb choice.

Anyway, some photos. Just as I post I have noticed a decent sized feather duster in a different colour to all my red ones. Pretty happy with that.

I just wish I could get the green colour in the tips to come out in the photo. Been playing with the white balance but just haven't nailed it yet.

I can't good pictures either,mine is too blue.I blame it on my camera,it sucks.

Probably my camera, but more likely it's the photographer in my case.

A few more pics from a few more months later....

Long time with no posts from me. Tank has changed a lot in the last 12 months. I've decided I really like the look of corallimorphs and leathers, so the tank is stocked that way with a few zoa's.

Unfortunately the hammer in the front is on the way out. Water is all good, the light change was 12 months ago and it was fine until recently

The old PC lights are gone and I'm running LCD's now. Colour is a bit different, but they generate next to no heat which is handy here in summer.

The morphs are out of control. Hoping to get some of the blue ones to mix in amongst the red ones.

I have an almost constant supply of loose ones at the bottom of the tank that I have finally found a store that will take them for credit.

Like I said, I love the morphs and will stick with them, just looking for more colour as well as getting more into the right side of the tank to balance it out.

There is a few greenish pimply ones as well that are next to the blue ones, but their colour isn't as good.

Just noticed tonight that there are a lot more feather dusters at night than during the day. I think I may have finally caught a glimpse of the pistol shrimp I listen to all night as well.
