sugar size sand on live rock

Reefing newb
has anyone had a problem with sugar size sand settling on the rocks it slowly kicks up a few particles of sand and in a few days my lower rocks have sand on them and it also pushed the sand away from the front of my glass i have a 90 gal with 2 coralife 1300gph circulation pumps mounted on the back corners facing about 45deg toward the front of the tank, anyone have any suggestions??? look at the pic you can see by the front glass 2 spots where it eventually errodes the sand away a little bit. should i mount the pumps on the side glass towards each other or keep it like i have it??

You just need to fiddle around with the position of the PH.Try lowering them a bit and have them face towards the surface.Or try the side glass instead, like you mentioned.

Mine was doing the same thing. I just pointed the powerhead in a different direction and the problem was solved. Just noticed you're in Houston is well. Have you joined MARSH?

A lot of patience is required. Position and repositioning the power heads. Eventually you'll find the perfect spot.

P.S. I still love your background.
