here is the new set up i need your help on the closed loop part. MRC said they could put the over flow in the middle. all the plumbing will be in the middle in the over flow box. this is a front view
the red is live rock which corals will be attached to (duh i know)
the blue will be the...
the tank will be something thats 72" and at least 24" wide
yes the closed loop will be running two outputs at a time.
the overflow box i never really thought about it.
i will go down a little i just wanted to make sure i had enough flow for my SPS's there will be no powerheads in my tank...
i think this will be the final design.
the red is the intake for the closed loop and they are 1.5" each
the green are the returns for the closed loop and they are 1.5" each
the closed loop pump is reeflo bararacuda that pumps 4500gph and iwl be on an oceans motions 4 way
what you think
fatman
i am using the 1.5 by 4(1 inch ports) http://www.flexpvc.com/cart/agora.cgi?product=PVC-Distributors
i thought about drilling on the side walls but the tank will be backed up against a wall and i don't want that seen. and plus one of the sides will be backed up against a corner
okay here is the new closed loop idea for the tank
green are the sump returns and are all 1"
red are the sump intakes and are all 2"
yellow is the closed loop intake and are 1.5"
blue are the closed loop return and are 1.5"
tell me what you think
Here is a new try

the red comes out the tank and goes to the sump and is 1.5" and the blue is a return from the sump 1.5" each.
the pink is 1.5" and goes to a ReefFlo Barracuda pump that pumps out 4300gph and will be attached to an oceans motion 4 way...
